Receptionist/Accounts Administrator

Fernwood Group Ltd, Watnall, Nottingham, NG16 1LA

£22,500 per annum, plus Holidays and Pension

Receptionist Duties:

  • Attend to all visitors to the Company and direct as appropriate, ensuring that all visitors sign into the business, and maintain security awareness.
  • Answer the telephone, screen, and direct calls, and to take and relay messages as required.
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support to the business as required.
  • Franking of outgoing mail.
  • To work collaboratively with other employees and develop a strong knowledge of the business.
  • Any other reasonable duty that is within your capability.

Accounts Administration Duties:

  • Filing as required.
  • Monitor "Finance" inbox and printing invoices / credit notes.
  • Number stamping and dating all invoices / credits / statements.
  • Download / print statements, collate invoices, and code transactions.
  • Taking / processing domestic solid fuel orders & processing any subsequent payments

· Accounts administration training will be provided on a variety of tasks and duties.

Key Skills / Experience Required:

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills along with some administration experience.
  • GCSE in Maths and English
  • Working knowledge of Excel and Exchequer (training can be provided)
  • Good financial and commercial acumen gained working within an accounting team (desirable)
  • Experience in public facing role
  • Good written and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to plan, prioritise and organise own workload.
  • Confident, assertive, flexible, and self-motivated.

The Package:

  • Salary of £22,500 per annum
  • 9am – 5pm working day.
  • 23 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
  • Pension
  • Onsite parking
