Despatch of Stock

HBH's stocking site incorporates a dedicated rail pad loading facility, with Trading Standards calibrated weighing in motion rail weighbridge. This provides the capability to despatch up to 65,000 tonnes per week of bulk commodity by rail from stock.

Hull Bulk Handling has excellent working relationships and train loading performance record with all major UK Rail Freight operating companies. All trains are marshalled by HBH's own staff through the Port Estate, and onto HBH's rail loading pad, thus ensuring efficient train turnaround time.

Despatch from stock by road by HGV is also possible. The Terminal is entirely unrestricted in terms of number of daily vehicle movements. Volumes of up to 5,000 tonnes per day can be despatched from the Terminal by road.
