To be suitable for berthing at Queen Elizabeth Dock, Hull , a vessel must fit within the following parameters:

Maximum overall length 198 metres
Maximum beam 25.5 metres
Maximum draught 10.4 metres

The water in the approach channel to the dock is brackish with an SPG of 1016, so the maximum draught of the vessel must be measured on this basis.
