Fernwood Group Limited is the holding company of the Fernwood Group and is a private company owned by its directors.

Since its formation in 1983 the group has grown to become a successful and well-respected major player in the UK solid fuel, stevedoring and bulk haulage industries, with around £15 million turnover and 60 employees.

More recently, new activities have been commenced in tarmac maintenance and waste recycling, with additional companies being formed for the purpose.

Directions to the head office:
Leave the M1 motorway at Junction 26 and follow the Nottingham sign. At the first roundabout take the first exit, the B600, which takes you back under the motorway. Take the first right opposite the Three Ponds pub. Follow this road for about half a mile passing the Bakery and the Heavy Goods Vehicle Testing Station on your right. The Fernwood Office is a modern red brick building fronting the road with car park in front, immediately after the HGV Testing Station.
